Jesus told us that earthquakes would be a sign of his second coming: Here is a status on earthquake activity over the last 100 years.
(These are killer quakes with a size 6.0 or higher)
1890-1899 - 1
1900-1910 - 3
1910-1920 - 2
1920-1930 - 2
1930-1940 - 5
1940-1950 - 4
1950-1960 - 9
1960-1970 - 13
1970-1980 - 51
1980-1990 - 86
1990-present - over 100!!
If this is any sign of things to come, either expect more earthquakes ahead or the return of Jesus. (13)
Read what 2 Timothy 3: 1-5 says about the return of Jesus:
1: This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2: For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3: Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4: Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5: Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
Tell me that we are not at this point now!!
Look for these signs in the days ahead:
- More mergers between Christian denominations bringing a watered down version of the Bible.
- Look for diseases thought to be extinct to come back. Jesus said that disease and plague would be big in the last days
- Look for a false peace in the middle east.
- Look for the Temple to be rebuilt in Israel. It is an important piece to the puzzle.
- There will be a breakdown of morality and family values as we approach Christs return.
