Rhodesian man was found in 1921 in what was then known as Northern Rhodesia, now Zambia.
The Rhodesian mans newest age is estimated at between 200,000 and 400,000 years old. Yet there is evidence to believe that the fossil is quite recent in age.
The skull is in a remarkably fresh state of preservation, the bone having merely lost its animal matter and not having been in the least amount mineralized (I thought it was 200,000 years old?)
The most remarkable feature of the Rhodesian man is that he was found 60 feet underground at the far end of a shaft in a lead and zinc mine.
If found under other circumstances the Rhodesian man, with his low cranial doming and very heavy brow-ridges could serve as an excellent illustration for the evolution theory but....
The individual was either mining lead and zinc himself, or was in the mine shaft at a time when lead and zinc was being mined by other humans. This shows a rather high degree of civilization and technology for an ape man.
In the typical evolutionary fashion, it was reported that Rhodesian man was found in a cave, giving the impression of a cave man. Technically , I suppose a mine shaft is just a cave, of sorts, yea right!!!
This appears to be a crude attempt to minimize the technical abilities of these humans. The Bible clearly confirms the advanced technology and advanced culture of our ancestors. THEY WERE NOT CAVEMEN.
So what did we learn here, First the Rhodesian mans skull shows evidence of being from a recent period, and second his location at the time of discovery paints a picture of a modern civilized human being, not the half ape half man that we were taught about.
